PP505 - Cow Horn Chair

The PP505 Cow Horn Chair by PP Møbler, designed in 1952 by Hans J. Wenger is a true work of art. Building on some of his previous designs with this chair Wenger once again seamlessly combines the aspect of extraordinary woodworking, with functionality. This beautifully dainty chair was intentionally fashioned to fit easily under a table, making it perfect for a dining set. The smaller size of the Cow Horn Chair not only adds to its overall usefulness but makes it the perfect feminine mate to the audacious Bull Chair. The Cow Horn chair is a stunning piece in its own right with elegant and organic lines. The armrests and seat back are made to match with two pieces of solid wood each carved from 200 year old Danish shelter trees and connected by Wegner's signature tenon joint, adding the element of design that has become known as his trademark.
