PP518 - Bull Chair

The PP518 Bull Chair by PP Møbler, designed by Hans J. Wegner in 1961, is a true masterpiece of Danish woodworking skill and design. Its distinctive backrest resembles bullhorns and is crafted from two curved pieces of solid wood each carved from 200 year old Danish shelter trees and joined seamlessly at the center with precision-crafted rosewood tenons. The armrests are cut from the same piece of wood to ensure a perfectly matching grain, highlighting the chair’s natural beauty and artistry. The tenon joints not only provide strength and elegance but are a signature feature that has become known as Wegner's trademark. The Bull Chair is a bold statement piece that exudes craftsmanship, comfort and character.
